Job summary

Southstar Drug in the Philippines is seeking a licensed pharmacist to dispense medicines with accuracy and integrity. You will counsel patients, coordinate with the Corporate Pharmacist, and ensure store standards, stock quality, and readiness for FDA/PDEA inspections.

Training others on product knowledge is part of the role. The position welcomes fresh graduates and requires willingness to work shifting schedules, including weekends/holidays if needed; relocation allowances are provided for

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with an active license to practice.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules and 5-day weeks.

Responsibilities

• Ensures validity and accuracy of prescription in dispensing medicines
• Engages in patient counseling and queries on drug related matters
• Coordinates with the Corporate Pharmacist
• Ensures that all reference books are updated and available in the store
• Ensures proper storage and all bad stocks are pulled out in assigned medicine cabinet
• Ensures that all medicines are in good condition
• Represents the store during FDA/ PDEA inspection
• Updates store personnel on product awareness and new practices through training
