Job summary

Southstar Drug is inviting applications for a Registered Pharmacist to join our retail drugstore team. The role focuses on dispensing medications accurately, counseling customers, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

The pharmacist may lead in the absence of the Store head and assist with cashiering duties as needed. The candidate should be a licensed pharmacist, with knowledge of Good Dispensing and Good Storage Practices, and a strong interest in pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

Must be a Registered Pharmacist with an active valid PRC ID / License.
Newly board passers are encouraged to apply.
Knowledgeable in Good Dispensing and Good Storage Practices.
Able to comply with FDA Regulatory requirements and other government-related business requirements.
Basic MS Office Application Knowledge and Skills.
Clear and Effective Communication Skills and Team Collaboration.
Strong interest in retail drugstore operation management.
Flexible, willing to work in shifting schedule including weekends and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality, safe and effective pharmaceutical and retail products are dispensed to customers.
Accurately dispense and counsel prescribed medications and other pharmaceutical products including medical devices.
Act as a leader in the absence of a Store head and perform cashiering responsibilities as needed.
