Job summary

Southstar Drug is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to ensure prescription accuracy and safe dispensing of medicines. You will counsel patients, handle drug-related inquiries, and coordinate with the Corporate Pharmacist to maintain up-to-date reference books in-store.

Ensure proper storage, pull bad stocks, and represent the store during FDA/PDEA inspections. Fresh graduates are welcome; relocation allowances are provided for those willing to relocate and work shifting schedules including

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist.
• Willing to work shifting schedules and compressed work week (5 days per week).
• Willing to work on holidays and weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensures validity and accuracy of prescription in dispensing medicines.
• Engages in patient counseling and queries on drug related matters.
• Coordinates with the Corporate Pharmacist.
• Ensures that all reference books are updated and available in the store.
• Ensures proper storage and all bad stocks are pulled out in assigned medicine cabinet.
• Represents the store during FDA/PDEA inspection.
• Updates store personnel on product awareness and new practices through training.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Must be willing to work on shifting schedules and compressed work week (5 days per week duty and 2 days off)
• Willing to work on holidays, and weekends if necessary
