Job summary

Koko Mart Trading Inc. is seeking an Officer-in-Charge (OIC) / Management Trainee at Primark Deparo Gilmar to oversee daily store operations while undergoing hands‑on training to develop into a future Store Manager.

This role is ideal for individuals with leadership potential who are eager to grow in retail operations and store management. This position offers on-site work with opportunities for mentorship, advancement to Store Manager, and exposure to core retail processes including sales, cash

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail, cashiering, or store operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Computer literate; good communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to work on-site and on shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure efficient workflow.
• Act as the Store Manager in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Learn and apply store management best practices through hands-on training.
• Support the achievement of store sales targets.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve complaints professionally.
• Operate the POS system and process cash and non-cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare and reconcile daily sales reports and remittances.
• Ensure the correct implementation of discounts, pricing, and promotions.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Assist in inventory counting and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper merchandising, product display, and store cleanliness.
• Report sales, inventory, and operational concerns to management.
• Coordinate with management to implement process improvements and maintain operational efficiency.
