About the role

BW SUPERBAKESHOP-ELJIN is seeking a Store Crew member to join our team at our La Paz, Tarlac location. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail bakery store. As a Store Crew member, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that every customer receives a warm welcome and outstanding service whilst our store remains clean, well-organised, and fully stocked with our delicious bakery products.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their shopping experience

• Operate the till accurately, process payments and handle cash transactions with integrity

• Assist customers with product selection and answer questions about our bakery items and offerings

• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh bakery products, maintaining visual appeal and organisation

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store, including floors, counters and display areas

• Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock requires replenishment

• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, seeking to resolve issues to their satisfaction

• Support promotional activities and ensure signage is displayed correctly

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations during peak and quiet periods

• Follow all food safety and health regulations to protect customer wellbeing

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles, preferably in a bakery or food retail environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers

• A professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene standards

• Numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating till systems

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment, particularly during busy trading periods

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items

• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work shifts including weekends if required

• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
