Job summary

Greenstone Packaging Corporation in Calamba, Laguna, is seeking a stockroom/inventory control professional to manage receiving, storage, and issuance of materials for production. You will ensure accurate records, maintain WIP logs, and coordinate with Purchasing for urgent requests.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, updating ARs/RRs, performing physical counts, and adhering to 5S and safety standards in the stockroom. A Bachelor's degree and Excel proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in stockroom, warehouse, or inventory control is an advantage in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or inventory management software is an advantage.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue consumables, raw materials, and production supplies based on approved requests.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against delivery documents and purchase records.
• Notify the requesting department upon arrival of materials and spare parts.
• Record and update all received materials using ARs, RRs and other documents.
• Monitor and update WIP records for Top Sheets, Single Face, Paper Rolls and other production materials.
• Record issued WIP materials to ensure accurate inventory balances and production monitoring.
• Maintain filing of inventory documents including ARs, RRs, PRFs, Job Orders and Completion Reports.
• Prepare and update Receiving Reports and inventory monitoring records.
• Monitor PRFs and identify urgent or priority material requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Department regarding pending, urgent, and priority purchase requests.
• Provide status updates to requesting departments regarding their material requests.
• Facilitate approval process of PRFs by obtaining required signatures.
• Forward approved PRFs to Purchasing Department for processing.
• Coordinate emergency purchases for machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Source nearby suppliers for urgently required spare parts and materials when necessary.
• Maintain updated monitoring log of pending and completed PRFs.
• Verify actual machine parts or rollers before processing recoating or repair Job Orders.
• Coordinate disposal or sale of scrap materials per company procedures and obtain approvals.
• Follow up suppliers regarding pending check collections and other purchasing concerns.
• Conduct routine inspections of WIP materials to ensure proper storage, identification, and organization.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the stockroom and WIP storage areas, adhering to 5S standards.
• Perform physical inventory counts and assist in periodic audits.
• Perform other stockroom, inventory control, WIP monitoring, and purchasing coordination duties assigned by management.
