Job summary

Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, located in Fort Bonifacio, is seeking a Stewarding professional to implement standardized procedures in the Stewarding department in line with hotel standards and policies.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years experience in an international hotel, is fluent in English, and demonstrates a detail-oriented, creative, and outgoing mindset with strong team-building abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in an international hotel in the same capacity.
• Up to date with trends in Stewarding operations.
• Preferably strict in enforcing HACCP guidelines throughout F&B operations.
• Preferably fluent in oral and written English.
• Preferably outgoing, creative and with an eye for details.

Responsibilities

• Implement all standardized procedures, rules and regulations in the Stewarding department to align with hotel standards and policies.

With 60 storeys, comprising 576 hotel guestrooms, 97 hotel residences and 96 exclusive Horizon Homes, the building is destined to become a Manila landmark. The new hotel will complement the company’s five existing properties in the Philippines.

Shangri-La The Fort, ManilaShangri-La The Fort, Manila, located within Fort Bonifacio, the former military base and city centre. With 60 storeys, comprising 576 hotel guestrooms, 97 hotel residences and 96 exclusive Horizon Homes, the building is destined to become a Manila landmark. The new hotel will complement the company’s five existing properties in the Philippines.
The mixed-use business, residential and retail tower will be located along Fifth Avenue and 30th, within the new, fast-developing Taguig business district. A 30-minute drive from the international airport, the hotel will also be close to the Manila Golf Club and Manila Polo Club, and 10 minutes from Makati district, the capital’s financial, cultural and entertainment hub with first‑class shopping malls.

He/she is to implement all standardized procedures, rules and regulations systematically in the Stewarding department to be in line with hotel standards and policies.

Requirements

• Preferably with minimum 2 years experience in an international hotel in the same capacity
• Preferably up to date with new trends in Stewarding operations
• Preferably strict in enforcing HACCP guidelines throughout the F&B operations
• Prefrably fluent in oral and written English
• Preferably creative and with an eye for details
