Job summary

WhiteCrow Research Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Stamping Manager to lead production operations in Batangas. You will oversee stamping, safety, quality, and lean-improvement initiatives to meet throughput, efficiency, and delivery targets.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in stamping with a mechanical/industrial engineering background, plus strong leadership across cross-functional teams. You will drive cost reduction, strategic planning, and continuous improvement, using data to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of stamping industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of stamping processes, quality management, and equipment management.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day stamping production operations to meet plans and delivery requirements.
• Plan and allocate resources, monitor progress, and resolve issues.

As a Stamping Manager, you will be responsible for...

Production Operations Management

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the Stamping Department to ensure production plans are being achieved and customer delivery requirements are being met.
• Planning and allocating production resources, monitoring production progress, and promptly coordinating the resolution of operational issues.
• Chairing departmental GO meetings, production meetings, and operational reviews, and tracking performance against targets.
• Monitoring production data and operating metrics, driving problem resolution, and implementing improvement actions.
• Reviewing and approving production-related documents, forms, work instructions, and processes.

Safety and Environmental Management

• Implementing company EHS policies and applicable regulatory requirements, and promoting a strong safety culture.
• Conducting regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments, ensuring identified hazards are being corrected and closed out.
• Monitoring employees safe work practices to reduce the risk of injuries and safety incidents.
• Ensuring the effective implementation of 5S+1 and standardized workplace management.

Quality Management

• Taking ownership of departmental quality performance and continuously reducing scrap rates and the cost of poor quality (COPQ).
• Driving process-quality improvements to prevent and reduce customer complaints and internal quality issues.
• Leading the analysis of quality issues and implementing corrective and improvement actions.
• Supporting customer audits, management-system audits, and management reviews.

Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence

• Driving continuous-improvement projects involving OEE, QCO, VSM, automation, and related initiatives.
• Applying continuous-improvement and lean-improvement tools to continuously improve production efficiency and resource utilization.
• Promoting digital management and visual management systems, and regularly tracking improvement-project progress.
• Overseeing key departmental improvement projects and coordinating the required resources.
• Establishing and advancing initiatives for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and waste elimination.

Cost Management

• Leading departmental budgeting and expense control.
• Continuously driving cost-improvement projects to achieve annual cost-saving targets.
• Optimizing the utilization of labor, equipment, and materials.
• Monitoring departmental operating costs and return on investment.

Team Management and Talent Development:

• Establishing and maintaining job-skill matrices to strengthen overall team capabilities.
• Managing employee performance, talent development, and succession planning.
• Guiding and coaching supervisors, team leaders, and key employees in their professional development.
• Improving employee engagement and fostering teamwork and organizational culture.
• Coordinating the resolution of employee-relations and cross-team collaboration issues.

Strategic Planning and Management Reporting

• Developing annual departmental business objectives and action plans.
• Cascading KPI targets throughout the organization and driving achievement at all levels.
• Reporting departmental operating performance and improvement progress to management on a regular basis.
• Participating in plant strategic planning and business-development projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and other functions.
• Supporting new-product introduction and capacity-planning projects.
• Coordinating cross-functional resources to resolve major operational issues.
• Driving improvements in overall plant operating performance.

What you already have...

• 15+ years of experience in the stamping industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of manufacturing experience; a major in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of stamping processes, quality management, and equipment management.
