STAMPING TECHNICIAN

Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical or manufacturing fields is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Stamping Technician.
• Skill: Proficient in operating surface grinding machines.
• Ability: Able to interpret technical drawings.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of basic metal stamping principles and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to quality standards and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs die assembly, disassembly, adjustment, repair, and maintenance.
• Operates surface grinding machines.
• Conducts tooling inspections and quality control.
• Reads die/product drawings and understands quality requirements.
• Suggests and leads improvement projects to boost productivity and reduce errors.
• Supports RCA/CA activities by providing accurate information and performing confirmation tasks.
• Ensures documentation accuracy and compliance with approved standards and quality programs.
• Implements safety procedures, uses PPE, handles chemicals per SDS, and reports safety incidents.
• Manages waste disposal and complies with ESH training requirements.
• Participates in internal audits and supports corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintains organized storage and proper handling of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Follows company rules, policies, and confidentiality standards consistently.
