Job summary

Tyco Electronics Philippines, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a manufacturing technician to assist in assembling and testing a range of products in a fast-paced facility in Leyte.

You will participate in setup, calibration, testing, maintenance and production operations to meet quality standards. You will perform basic calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and production tasks, following blueprints and diagrams to ensure compliance with customer specifications and tolerances.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years or more of related work experience.
• Requires high school diploma.
• Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and operate basic production equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble products following facility processes.
• Follow blueprints, diagrams and schematics to meet specifications.
• Assist as part of manufacturing team in equipment modification for process improvements.

Job Requirements

• Conducting basic equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustained production.
• Operating basic production equipment and tools in the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of various products.
• Following blueprints, guidelines, diagrams and schematics to ensure product and customer specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Assisting as part of manufacturing team in modifying existing equipment or designing new equipment for continual manufacturing process improvement, as well as quality control and in-process production testing.
