Overview
A Stall Attendant is responsible for the daily operations of a stall, providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, and ensuring that products are displayed attractively. The stall attendant will assist customers with their inquiries, process sales transactions, and maintain inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure that products are displayed neatly and attractively.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle money accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stall at all times.
- Keep track of inventory, report low stock, and assist with restocking as necessary.
- Provide information about products to customers and assist with product selection.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve them promptly.
- Assist in setting up and closing the stall each day.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or holidays as required.
