The Stall Attendant is responsible for assisting customers, managing product displays, ensuring the stall is clean and well-stocked, and providing excellent customer service to create a positive experience. The attendant may also be required to handle cash, process payments, and provide information about products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stall or booth.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are available for sale.
- Handle customer transactions, including processing payments and providing receipts.
- Provide product information and answer customer inquiries.
- Ensure that product displays are neat, attractive, and fully stocked.
- Monitor the stall for any security or safety concerns.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints or issues as needed.
- Handle cash and keep accurate records of sales transactions.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the stall during market or event days.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
