MPT South is now hiring a Stakeholder Management Sr. Specialist (Reliever)
About the Role:
Establish and strengthen relationships with local government stakeholders, national government stakeholders, transportation groups, non-government organizations, and other critical stakeholder groups. Pursue partnerships, implement programs, and resolve issues and concerns. Ensure open lines of communication and spearhead resolution of issues and lobbying of MPT South initiatives with both local and national-level stakeholders.
About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Communication, Social Work, Community Development, Education, Public Affairs, Public Administration, or a related area. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Office 365, and Microsoft Projects
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in any relationship-building position (sales, marketing, corp com, comrel, government, research, social work, community development)
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
A. Stakeholder Engagement (Community and Government Relations)
- Develop and implement CSR programs and community-relation activities for host LGUs and barangays.
- Ensure alignment of CSR programs with ESG, SDGs, and regulatory requirements.
- Gather and keep a record of baseline data about host communities assigned to him/her.
- Conduct in-depth stakeholder mapping and risk assessments for assigned project areas.
- Maintain positive working relationships with community leaders, CSR partners, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct barangay visits and site inspections, as needed.
- Responsible for managing assigned host communities and may be tasked with additional LGUs, barangays, or engagement areas as needed.
- Co-lead high-level stakeholder engagements, negotiations, and conflict resolution efforts; facilitate meetings and dialogues with barangay officials, residents, and other parties involved to resolve issues and conflicts.
- Assist in discussions and dialogues with South LGU Sanggunians in passing legislation that will benefit the company’s operational activities.
C. Issue Resolution
- Monitor and Analyze community issues and design comprehensive mitigation and engagement strategies, handling complex and sensitive cases.
- Coordinate and work with other departments in resolving community issues.
D. Administrative
- Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for CSR and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Prepare action log, field report, and sustainability report.
- Act as officer-in-charge or team lead when the Stakeholder Engagement Manager is unavailable.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
