Job summary

Western Digital Corporation in Biñan, Laguna, Philippines seeks a Staff Engineer for Analytical and Characterization Engineering (Chemical and Material Characterization). You will ensure metrology capabilities, define goals, and lead data analytics, tool operation, and failure analysis projects.

Proficiency with CD-SEM/SEM-EDX, FIB, STEM/TEM and AFM is expected. You will mentor technicians, generate reports, and coordinate with leadership to achieve targets in a fast-paced semiconductor

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of professional experience in physical/material laboratory.
Experience in electronics/semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
Strong data analytics and failure analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure metrology and characterization deliverables are met.
Develop methods for automated metrology and sustained capability.
Train and mentor technicians and operators.
Generate technical and executive reports; review technician output.
Plan resources and communicate with management when needed.
