Job summary

Western Digital Corp. is seeking a Staff Engineer in Analytical and Characterization Engineering (Chemical and Material Characterization) in Binan, Laguna.

You will ensure metrology capabilities, lead methods development, and provide analytics support across CD-SEM/SEM-EDX, FIB, STEM/TEM, AFM, spectroscopy and automated metrology. You will mentor technicians, generate reports, plan resources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable characterization for semiconductor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Material Science
• 7+ years in physical/material laboratory
• Electronics/semiconductor manufacturing exposure preferred
• Master's degree an advantage

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks to meet metrology and characterization deliverables
• Develop methods and automation for characterization processes
• Train and mentor technicians and operators
• Generate technical and executive reports; review outputs
• Plan resources and communicate with management
• Collaborate across departments to achieve site objectives
• Support policies and programs; perform other duties
