Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Data based in Spain to lead a large-scale data platform focused on blockchain analytics. You will shape ingestion, modeling, processing, storage, and delivery to users and developers in a highly distributed team.

You will work across Go, Kotlin, Rust, and Python, solving complex problems with correctness, scale, and performance, while guiding architectural direction and engineering standards in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals with distributed data systems expertise.
• Experience shipping large-scale data platforms with correctness and performance.
• Ability to design systems from requirements and manage state, invariants, and failure modes.
• Experience with multiple languages and async, remote work.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into robust, scalable data solutions.
• Decompose complex initiatives into ownerable work.
• Lead end-to-end architecture across the data platform.
• Design systems for large-scale ingestion, processing, and lake storage.
• Collaborate with product, customers, and engineers; mentor others.
