• Proven backend design, development and deployment of production APIs/microservices.
• Strong Go language experience preferred.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native architectures.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts such as latency, throughput, caching and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural redesign of a high-scale matchmaking engine.
• Define scalable, modular and extensible backend architecture.
• Design robust interfaces and abstractions for cross-team use.
• Review code and architecture at a senior level, guiding design decisions.
• Mentor other engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
