Job summary

The Hartford in the Philippines is seeking an IND Staff Engineer to help build small to medium data pipelines and data products, delivering end-to-end solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.

You will implement CI/CD aligned with Enterprise DevOps, guide data engineering practices, document requirements, and stay current with AWS, Hadoop/EMR, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, and Talend to drive scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Data engineering experience with best practices in programming, SDLC and distributed systems.
• Production workloads in cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with SDLC and agile/iterative methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for building small to medium scale data pipelines and data products.
• Provide end-to-end solution delivery across multiple platforms and technologies.
• Implement CI/CD aligned with Enterprise DevOps practices.
• Document requirements and present technical concepts to audiences of varying size and level.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging data and analytics technologies and frameworks.
