Job summary

The Hartford in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack) to design, develop, and support enterprise applications. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor juniors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include SDLC participation, REST APIs, microservices, Angular frontend, CI/CD collaboration with DevOps, and performance tuning in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 9+ years of software development experience with enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies (.NET Core / .NET 6+; C#).
• Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JS.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices; knowledge of SQL Server/PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all SDLC phases from analysis to support.
• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
• Build responsive UIs with Angular and modern web tech.
• Develop REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and drive best practices.
