OpsWerks in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to manage and optimize data pipelines, analyze large datasets, and support cloud-based data platforms.

You will work closely with data and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, governance, and cost efficiency, while monitoring platforms such as Spark, Airflow, and Jupyter. Strong SQL, Python/Java/Scala, and AWS/GCP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in Data Analytics/Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL and data pipeline experience (ETL/ELT).
• Experience with at least one: Spark, Airflow, Flink, or Jupyter.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience in AWS or GCP environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large datasets to generate actionable insights.
• Manage and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows.
• Monitor data platforms (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Flink, Jupyter) for performance and reliability.
• Support incident analysis and data issue resolution.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with teams on AWS/GCP data environments.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and cost efficiency.
