The Senior Sales & Marketing Officer located in Imus, Baguio, Northgate, and Manila and is responsible for leading strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive the Informatics Corporate Learning (ICL) Programs, Informatics Micro Courses (IMC), and Skillsoft courses’ revenue growth and market expansion. The role focuses on business-to-business (B2B) sales, corporate partnerships, client acquisition, and account management to expand the organization’s corporate training portfolio and strengthen market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Ownership
- Own the product’s strategy, direction, and business targets, in coordination with management.
- Define target markets, positioning, and competitive advantage; monitor performance and recommend adjustments when targets are off-track.
Market and Customer Insight
- Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify needs, trends, and opportunities.
- Translate insights into actionable product and business strategies.
Product and Portfolio Development
- Identify new products, features, or packages based on market demand.
- Review the portfolio regularly—grow, improve, reposition, bundle, or phase out offerings based on performance.
Go-to-Market Execution
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans: segments, channels, pricing, and promotion.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Sales on campaigns, sales enablement, and launch execution; monitor and optimize results.
Revenue and Commercial Performance
- Own product-level revenue and profitability targets; track KPIs such as sales, adoption, retention, and margins.
- Work with Sales and Finance to close gaps against targets and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Track competitors, pricing, and positioning; maintain a competitive intelligence repository.
- Recommend adjustments to positioning, pricing, or features, and keep Sales and Marketing informed.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Academic, Technology, and Finance.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships (technology, content, academic, or channel) that strengthen the product.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Maintain product KPI dashboards; translate data into recommendations for management.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to decide what should be scaled, modified, or discontinued.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is often preferred.
- Experience: 2–3 years in sales, marketing, or a similar role helps build a strong foundation.
