The Sr Quality Control Technician plays a key role in manufacturing quality operations by leading quality monitoring activities, driving timely resolution of quality issues, and ensuring compliance with established quality standards. This role provides technical support to production, and actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and yield performance
Monitor, analyze, and interpret production quality metrics (e.g., yield, OATF, defect trends, DPPM) to identify opportunities for improvement and proactively escalated quality concerns.
Lead first-level investigations of in-process and customer quality issues, including data collection, defect verification, root cause analysis support, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive and verify implementation of containment actions by conducting floor audits, validating effectiveness, and ensuring timely closure of identified issues.
Review, process, and maintain quality-related documentation such as Quality Alerts, Purging Notices, MRB, RMA, ECO, and work instructions.
Coordinate and monitor Stop Build, Stop Ship, and Hold Shipment activities to ensure effective containment of critical quality concerns.
Prepare and maintain accurate quality reports and records to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
Generate, analyze, and present quality performance reports to support operational reviews, management decision-making, and customer requirements.
Support MQE in New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering trials, and product transfer activities through build monitoring, defect analysis, and qualification reporting.
Monitor test and inspection yields (e.g., burn-in, electrical test, visual inspection), identify abnormal trends, and recommend actions to improve process capability and product quality
Complies at all times with Safety and Quality standards.
Technology graduate or graduate of any Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or quality.
Basic knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis (8D/RCCA).
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and teamwork.
Willing to work onsite in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
