Optum is seeking a senior SQL Server DBA to administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL environments in a hybrid, enterprise setting in Metro Manila. The candidate will provide L2/L3 production support, manage high-availability configurations, and drive performance tuning, security, and automation initiatives.

Ideal for professionals with 8+ years in SQL Server DBA roles, with expertise spanning SQL Server 2012-2025 and Azure SQL, including on-call incident handling and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience in enterprise environments.
• Expert in MS SQL Server (2012-2025) and Azure SQL Database/Managed Instance.
• Proven L2/L3 SQL Server production support experience.
• 9-14+ years SQL Server DBA experience; banking/financial services exposure preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Proven L2/L3 SQL Server production support experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 9-14+ years of Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience (12-14 years preferred).
• Experience in financial services/banking environments.
