Job description

Lead the team that accelerates mid-market brands into Amazon Mexico's premium vendor ecosystem, building the next generation of account management leaders while scaling one of the fastest-growing vendor programs in Mexico.

The Amazon Vendor Paid Services (VPS) Mexico team is looking for a dynamic and talented Senior Manager to lead the Vendor Acceleration Program (VAP). You will be partnering with a creative, high-performing group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. This Manager will be responsible for building and managing Amazon's mid-market account management tier, a program that bridges the gap between self-service and premium vendor services. The role includes creating, negotiating, and maintaining strong vendor relationships; innovating how we connect with and add value for customers; owning and driving P&L (including reporting, revenue, and margin growth); and working with stakeholder teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

This is a people-first leadership role. You will lead an 18-person team. You will develop, mentor, and grow future leaders for the organization while translating operational programs into scalable growth engines with measurable P&L impact.

Key job responsibilities
  • Define and execute the strategic vision for VAP and Vendor Hub as a permanent, scalable account manager tier, not just an operational function.
  • Own the program's P&L: fee recovery, margin optimization, and vendor-funded growth.
  • Lead vendor graduation strategy, identifying and developing vendors ready to move into Amazon's premium services.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Category Leaders, Vendor Managers, and Business Development teams to build a healthy vendor pipeline.
  • Implement AI-powered automation tools to increase team efficiency and standardize service delivery.
  • Drive vendor engagement through structured cadences, joint business planning, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Foster a team environment where operational excellence and professional growth coexist.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop 18 direct reports in a high-performance culture.
A day in the life

Your mornings start reviewing vendor performance and aligning with your operational leads on escalations and coaching priorities. Mid-day, you're in cross-functional syncs with Category Leaders and Business Development teams, making high-judgment calls on vendor pipeline and program fit. Afternoons shift between people development (career conversations, JBP reviews, promotion readiness) and strategy work (program scaling, automation pilots, P&L optimization). No two days are identical, but every day balances three things: making decisions on vendors and resources, developing your people into future leaders, and scaling a program that directly impacts Amazon Mexico's vendor ecosystem.
