Job summary

Nezda Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, implement, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. You will build RESTful APIs, optimize databases, and ensure CI/CD pipelines are in place for production deployments.

You will work on full-stack enhancements with HTML/CSS/JavaScript frameworks and collaborate with a cross-functional team in a hybrid setting at our Alabang/BGC location, with a mid/night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with OOP knowledge.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Proficient SQL and experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services in Java using Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs to connect frontend and backend.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who has a strong proficiency and extensive experience in Java programming language, Spring Boot, and its concepts and framework.

What you will be doing

• Developing Backend Systems: Design, implement, and maintain server-side applications using Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data/JDBC or JPA/Hibernate.

• Creating APIs: Develop RESTful APIs to enable communication between frontend and backend systems.

• Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and work with database technologies like MySQL/PostgreSQL and Redis.

• Frontend Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js.

• Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests, perform integration testing, and debug applications to ensure high quality and reliability.

• Version Control: Use version control systems like Git to manage codebase and collaborate with other team members.

• Deployment and DevOps: Deploy applications to production environments, configure CI/CD pipelines, and work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
