Job summary

APW Tech is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Administrator to manage cloud infrastructure and operations across enterprise environments. You will handle platform administration, access governance, automation, and incident response, working closely with engineering and vendor teams.

The role emphasizes Datadog, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Azure Functions, with server administration on Windows and Linux. A hybrid setup requires three onsite days weekly, aligned to Manila time.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering enterprise observability platforms; Datadog experience is a plus.
• Experience administering Agile/DevOps platforms, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Experience providing L3/third-level technical support in enterprise IT operations.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and serverless technologies such as Azure Functions or AWS Lambda.
• Solid Windows and Linux server administration experience.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, system prompts, and RAG concepts.
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and Visual Studio Code is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coaching, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and platform governance.
• Monitor platform health and resolve support tickets and access requests.
• Provide third-level technical support for incidents, problems, and changes.
• Configure and deploy Datadog agents, integrations, private locations, dashboards, monitors, and alerts.
• Lead the monthly Datadog Community of Practice and conduct platform updates and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Coach users and power users on platform best practices, integrations, and data handling.
• Evaluate new platform features and support proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash.
• Deploy serverless automation using Azure Functions.
• Support server administration across Windows and Linux environments.
• Coordinate with internal teams, engineering teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all services and activities comply with agreed SLAs and ITIL practices.
