Job summary

Ampleon seeks a Project Management Engineer to lead development, optimization, and transfer of electronics assembly projects. You will coordinate with product engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure projects meet schedules and budgets while maintaining quality and reliability.

The role requires a strong background in electronics manufacturing, RF assembly processes, and proficiency in PM methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Electronics, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in project management within electronics manufacturing or semiconductor packaging.
• Strong understanding of RF product assembly processes and related manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (PCP).

• Lead and manage projects related to development, optimization, implementation and transfer of Ampleon projects in assembly manufacturing processes.

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in project management within electronics manufacturing, semiconductor packaging,
• Strong understanding of RF product assembly processes, SMT, die attach, wire bonding, soldering, testing, and manufacturing operations (is a plus)
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. (PCP)
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP, CAPM, Agile, or other project management certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, and Process Validation methodologies.

Responsible for leading and managing projects related to the development, optimization, implementation, and transfer of Ampleon Projects in assembly manufacturing processes. This role combines project management expertise with technical knowledge of Package and products, assembly operations, process engineering, and manufacturing technologies to ensure successful delivery of quality products, process improvements, and production readiness.

The position serves as the primary coordinator among product engineering, process engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, equipment vendors, and customers to drive project execution from development through mass production. The Project Management Engineer ensures that the assembly projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, reliability, and operational requirements.
