Job summary

Littelfuse Phils., Inc. in Batangas/Lipa is seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead global procurement for molded, rubber, resin, silver contacts, and fasteners across EII facilities.

You will drive supplier development, RFQs, negotiations, and cost analysis to support cost-saving strategies. The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement/category management and manufactured products.
• Strong skills in sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Experience in category strategy and market analysis.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategies and collaborate with teams to improve product lines, consolidate suppliers, and grow business with key partners.
• Manage suppliers on cost, quality, delivery, and service; negotiate prices and terms; review performance with key suppliers.
• Develop and implement annual cost-saving plans; work with Engineering on cost-reduction projects; use cost models to identify savings.
• Collaborate with Category Managers in other regions to support or lead supplier negotiations and develop sourcing options.

Reporting to the EII Category Manager, this role is responsible for managing global material categories such as Molding, Rubber, Resin, Silver Contacts, and Fasteners across EII facilities worldwide. The role involves sourcing, supplier management, RFQs, negotiations, cost analysis, maintaining the Approved Vendor List (AVL), developing multiple suppliers, and supporting cost and sourcing strategies. The position also requires close collaboration with other Category Managers and global teams to support supplier development, negotiations, and other sourcing initiatives within the assigned region.

• Monitor industry trends, regulations, market conditions, and competitors, and share market insights with different teams to support business

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement/category management and manufactured products.
• Strong skills in sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Experience in category strategy and market analysis.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in English, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of cost modeling is a plus.
