Job summary

One Outsource Direct Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Operator / CADD Draftsman to prepare and revise technical drawings for construction projects. You will develop accurate CAD drawings for presentations, permit applications, construction, and as-built documentation while coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities include site inspections, interpreting designs, organizing drawings, coordinating with MEP systems, and revising plans based on site conditions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or related field is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and CAD software applications.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Highly computer literate and capable of managing multiple project requirements.
• Willing to conduct site inspections when necessary.

• Interpret engineering and architectural designs to prepare accurate CAD drawings for project presentations and construction purposes.
• Prepare and organize standard drawings, design references, and other project documents required for CAD drafting.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and auxiliary system drawings to ensure consistency and efficiency across project deliverables.
• Revise CAD drawings based on recommendations from Senior Engineers, Project Managers, and client requirements.
• Prepare CAD drawings for presentations, permit applications, construction, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Compile, organize, and maintain project drawings and records for future reference.
• Update and revise plan drawings based on actual site conditions and project requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure the timely completion of drawing deliverables.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
