Job summary

Knowles is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives that boost productivity, support new product introductions, and ensure reliable automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.

You will design and implement automation solutions, collaborate with Engineering, QA, Tooling, Purchasing, and Production to drive projects, and manage maintenance and spare parts for automation equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in EE, electronics/communications, or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in electronics, automation, or high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience in automation design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting for hardware and software.
• Hands-on experience in vision inspection, motion control, sensors, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Proficient in PLCs, motion control, LabVIEW, Cadence, and Perforce.
• Exposure to industrial robotics is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Innovative, self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
