Job summary

ING is seeking an FM Derivatives Operations Analyst/Specialist in Manila to join the Derivatives Circle. You will ensure accurate processing of a broad range of Financial Markets Derivatives products, including interest rate, equity, commodity, and listed derivatives, across the trade lifecycle.

You will collaborate with global teams to monitor, match, and validate trade confirmations, resolve discrepancies, and manage settlement breaks, while upholding regulatory compliance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience in banking, financial markets operations, or derivatives processing.
• Experience with global stakeholders is a plus.

About the Role As an FM Derivatives Operations Analyst/Specialist, you will be part of the FM Derivatives Circle, responsible for the accurate, complete, and timely processing of a broad range of Financial Markets Derivatives products, including:

• Interest Rate Derivatives
• Equity Derivatives
• Commodity Derivatives
• Listed Derivatives

You will play a critical role in managing the trade lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, minimizing settlement risk, and supporting ING's commitment to regulatory compliance and client satisfaction. This position offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial markets while working with global stakeholders and contributing to the success of ING's Financial Markets business.

What You'll Do

As part of the team, you will:

• Monitor and process trade lifecycle transactions
• Match and validate trade confirmations
• Investigate unmatched confirmations and resolve trade discrepancies
• Monitor and manage stuck trades
• Affirm and confirm trade details with clients and counterparties
• Raise, investigate, and resolve settlement breaks and exceptions
• Perform reconciliations across internal and external systems
• Ensure trades are processed accurately and within established timelines
• Support risk reduction through effective control and operational oversight

What We're Looking For Technical & Professional Skills

• Experience in Financial Markets Operations, Derivatives Operations, Trade Support, Middle Office, or related functions
• Understanding of trade lifecycle management, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify and resolve operational exceptions effectively
• Knowledge of financial markets products and operational controls is highly desirable
