Job summary

Zuellig Pharma in the Philippines seeks an experienced Accountant to support closing activities, generate management reports, and ensure PAM policies are applied consistently. The role involves handling AP/AR, SOP preparation, and client reconciliations within a distribution-focused environment.

You should have a BS Accountancy, CPA preferred, and 2–3 years in accounting using integrated systems. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or related field, CPA preferred.
• 2–3 years accounting experience in an integrated system environment.
• Experience in distribution sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of AP, inventory, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate customer deductions charged to clients.
• Prepare Schedule of Payment (SOP) to clients per terms.
• Process and validate billings to clients based on VAS charges.
• Reconcile AP & AR per client.
• Prepare adjusting entries for month-end closing and PAM reports.
• Post and allocate monthly collections from clients.
• Coordinate with clients for GAISET updates.
• Reconcile AP/AR regularly.
• Monthly preparation of Claims and AR Aging reports.
• Engage with clients for business reviews.
• Issue monthly Statements of Account to clients.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• To ensure that closing activities are performed correctly and required management reports are prepared and submitted on time.
• To assist the Finance Manager in ensuring that policies and procedures of the PAM Department are implemented correctly and consistently and that departmental goals/KRAs are achieved.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Processing & validation of customer deductions charged to client
• Preparation of Schedule of Payment (SOP) to Clients based on commercial terms
• Processing & validation of billings to clients based on agreed VAS charges
• Reconciliation of AP & AR accounts per client
• Preparation of adjusting entries for month-end closing & other PAM reports
• Posting & allocation of monthly collection of claims payment from clients
• Monthly Coordination & reporting with client for GAISET updates
• AP/AR Reconciliation
• Monthly preparation of Claims Report & Quarterly AR Aging Report
• Client engagement & business review
• Monthly issuance of SOA with clients

Education Required

Graduate of BS Accountancy or any business-related course from a reputable college or university. Preferably, Certified Public Accountant.

Experience Required

At least 2- 3 years in Accounting in an integrated system environment preferably in a distribution company.

Knowledge And Skills Requirement

• Must possess an understanding of procedures and operations in AP and inventory management
• Must be familiar with accounting, inventory, sales and warehouse activities and operations.
• Must be analytical and accurate
• Must have initiative and good judgment
• Must have thorough knowledge of all pertinent phases of office work
• Must be organized, systematic, flexible and with good interpersonal and communication skills.
