Job summary

Zuellig Pharma in the Philippines is seeking a Finance Assistant (AR Processor) to ensure proper and timely posting of customer payments and ARRRF adjustments in SAP, while maintaining orderly records.

You will post trade AR collections from walk-in customers, forwarders, and assigned accounts, handle PDCs, Deductions, PCM/price adjustments, and support collection reconciliation and filing.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Trade AR and Collection policies and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of Philippine taxation, specifically withholding tax.
• Understanding of general accounting entries and journal postings.
• SAP familiarity and experience with AR functionalities.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable management and cash/cheque application.

Responsibilities

• Post manual trade collections from walk-in customers.
• Post collections via forwarders and from assigned customers/ABCs and SRT customers.
• Post PDC collections and handle deductions; process PCM adjustments.
• Perform posting adjustments and ensure correct allocations.
• Transmit posted ARRRF to AR Executive and maintain filing of documents.
• Assist in collection reconciliation and respond to inquiries from other departments.

Job Purpose

The Finance Assistant (AR Processor) is generally responsible for the proper and efficient collection and adjustment posting of assigned customers by ensuring that all remitted customer payments and ARRRF submitted are posted on the standard lead time. Accountable in ensuring that SAP processes and guidelines are strictly observed. Keeps assigned customer's Collection Receipts in a proper and organized files as well as the posted proposal for Credit Memos Escalates to Asst AR Manager and AR Manager any issues and concerns arising from collections and collection documents; Parking and PCM adjustments that may affect serviceability of the accounts.

• Download/auto interface customer invoice file
• ADJUSTMENT POSTING

Parking Of AR Adjustment

• perform park AR Adjustment in SAP (customer deductions with supporting documents)

• oCharges to Clients
• oTax Adjustments
• oWrite Off / parking Adjustments
• oCharge to Forwarders
  • Route AR adjustment to relevant department for endorsement/approval - done thru a workflow

Direct posting

• Ensures matching adjustments are properly approved based on Zuellig Pharma's Divisional Levels of Authority (DI-A)
• Performs matching adjustment via F-04
• Transmits back posted ARRRF to AR Executive for proper filing

PCM Price Adjustment

• Performs price adjustment via VAOI
• Responsible in editing any error in PCM request via VA02
• Responsible in the safe keeping and filing of PCM

CWT Process

• Perform the centralized transmittal and coordination related to CWT requirements and adjustments
• ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTION
• Maintain proper and systematic filing of all documents and ensure easy retrievability of documents
• Assist AR Executive in terms of collection reconciliation
• Attend to inquiries from other departments and external parties on matters related to account serviceability
• Carry out other duties appropriate to the post as required by superior

Handling Of Bounced Checks

• Posting of bounced checks via Reverse and Reset entry
• perform redemption entry via posting Of incoming payments

Technical competencies

• Familiarity of the Company Policies and Procedures on Trade AR and Collection including Credit Management
• Must possess basic knowledge on Philippine Taxation specifically on Withholding Tax
• Must possess basic knowledge and understanding of Accounting entries
• Knowledgeable in SAP functionalities
• Knowledgeable in Accounts Receivable Management
• Knowledge in Bank Reconciliation is recommended but not required
• Ability to manage cash/cheque application making sure all cash/cheque receipts are applied properly
• proficient in word processing (e.g., MS word), spreadsheets (e.g., MS Excel) and presentation tools (e.g., MS Powerpoint)
