Job description

Lead and evaluate Local Sourcing opportunities with a strong commercial mindset, ensuring devices are sourced strategically and profitably while supporting overall upstream growth.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and manage local sourcing opportunities across the Philippines

Lead sourcing discussions with corporates, enterprises, distributors, and bulk suppliers

Assess sourcing opportunities commercially, including: What devices to buy, What devices to avoid, Volume versus margin trade-offs, Market timing and demand conditions

Make informed recommendations on sourcing decisions, including when to scale up or slow down buying activity

Collaborate closely with upstream and downstream teams to align sourcing with market demand

Structure and recommend pricing and deal terms for bulk and enterprise sourcing

Build and maintain long-term sourcing relationships with key suppliers

Provide regular insights on supply trends, pricing pressure, and market risks

Support and guide junior sourcing executives when required

Requirements

Strong understanding of buying and selling dynamics in devices, electronics, or similar industries

Proven ability to evaluate deals beyond volume, with attention to margin and risk

Comfortable negotiating and engaging with stakeholders at different seniority levels

Independent, disciplined, and accountable for sourcing outcomes

Able to make clear decisions on when to proceed with or reject sourcing opportunities

Qualifications

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: Device sourcing or buyback, Electronics distribution, Enterprise sales, IT asset disposal (ITAD), Hardware lifecycle management

Experience handling bulk or enterprise-level sourcing deals

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred

Familiarity with Philippine market conditions is an advantage

Scope Clarification

This role focuses on Local Sourcing only and does not cover: Retail operations, Program-based trade-in execution, Downstream sales or resale activities, Administrative pricing roles without commercial responsibility
