We are looking for a talented and creative Game Audio Sound Engineer / Composer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in shaping the emotional and immersive audio experience across our game titles. This role involves creating original music, designing impactful sound effects, and ensuring high-quality sound integration within our game environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Compose and arrange original background music tailored to different game settings, themes, and narratives
• Design and produce high-quality sound effects for characters, assets, user interface, and in-game events
• Understand project briefs and determine the best sound and mixing techniques to bring them to life
• Record, edit, mix, and manipulate live or digital sound assets
• Coordinate with game designers, developers, and animators to ensure audio complements the game experience
• Implement and mix audio within game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine)
• Set up and test equipment for recording and live playback
• Use AI-powered tools (where applicable) to assist in sound creation or optimization
• Troubleshoot audio issues and maintain all audio-related equipment and software
• Maintain an organized library of audio assets and documentation
• Participate in team training and continuously explore new audio tools and techniques
• Additional tasks may be assigned by management as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Music, Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Strong portfolio showcasing original compositions and sound design, ideally for games or interactive media
• Proficiency with industry-standard audio tools and software (e.g., Logic Pro, FL Studio, Ableton Live, Cubase, Pro Tools)
• Experience with recording, editing, and mixing techniques
• Familiarity with audio middleware such as FMOD, Wwise, and integration with game engines
• Understanding of sound mixing consoles, microphones, equalizers, and troubleshooting audio equipment
• Ability to work across multiple genres and match music to gameplay tone and emotion
• A creative mindset and a keen ear for detail
• Ability to take direction, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in live sound or audiovisual project work is a plus
• Knowledge of AI audio tools is an advantage
