Job summary

Workstream is hiring a Solutions Software Engineer in Professional Services to own the design, development, and delivery of complex integrations between our platform and enterprise client systems. The role blends deep software engineering with customer collaboration, driving architectural decisions and standards across the PS team.

You will work on creating scalable, production-grade solutions, leveraging AI tooling, LLMs, and automation to improve client outcomes and internal team efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack/backend depth.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build robust API integrations with client HR, payroll, and POS systems.
• Develop and maintain reusable integration frameworks and shared libraries.
• Own the full software lifecycle from design to production support.
• Build data migration pipelines and CSV transformation solutions for onboarding.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients.
