Responsibilities

Design and plan the inner layout of the warehouse, ensuring optimized functioning of the warehouse and achieving maximum efficiency and space utilization.

Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems.

Adopt lean concepts to streamline processes and achieve process flow efficiency.

Plan for efficient operation, allowing access to products and segmenting different product types from each other.

Proficient in computer-aided design and drafting software (eg. AutoCAD).

Coaching/mentoring less experienced staff and overseeing work of other lower-level professionals; manage processes and programs.

Set objectives, deliver on own responsibilities, and influence long-term tactical decisions.

Lead employees day-to-day, set priorities to ensure task completion.

Qualifications

Previous work experience in a related area or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education.

Knowledge required for the application of practical methods and techniques, work procedures, and processes.

Solutioning skills: ability to choose from known alternatives and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness.
