Job description

Responsibilities

Design, plan and optimize the inner layout of the warehouse, including product flow and handling systems, to maximize efficiency and space utilization. Adopt lean concepts to streamline processes and implement a system that provides efficient access to products and segments different product types. Use computer‑aided design and drafting software such as AutoCAD to develop the warehouse design.

Provide guidance and informal supervision to less experienced staff, coaching and mentoring as needed. Advocate for process improvements and participate in program and project management, influencing long‑term tactical decisions within the organization.

Qualifications

Proficient with AutoCAD and other drafting tools.

Advanced education or practical experience in a related field.

Strong knowledge of practical methods, work procedures and processes used in warehouse design and operations.

Ability to serve as a technical expert, provide solutions, and evaluate alternatives within the area of expertise.
