NCS Philippines is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. You will translate client requirements into robust architectures, ensuring quality, scalability, and security across complex software solutions.

Key duties include designing architecture, collaborating with stakeholders, providing technical leadership, and mentoring junior staff. Strong cloud, microservices, and Agile experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6-10 years of professional experience in software development, systems architecture, or related technical roles.
• Proven expertise in designing and architecting large-scale, distributed software systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their core services and architectural patterns.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and service-oriented architecture principles.
• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of database design and management, including both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive software solution architectures that meet client business requirements and technical specifications.
• Conduct detailed analysis of client needs and translate them into detailed technical solution designs and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and development teams, to ensure successful solution delivery and implementation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to inform solution design recommendations.
• Create detailed architecture documentation, design specifications, and technical blueprints.
• Conduct solution reviews and quality assurance to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
• Support pre-sales activities by providing technical input and solution proposals for prospective clients.
• Mentor and support junior technical staff in developing their architectural and design capabilities.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with industry compliance requirements.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join NCS Philippines on an urgent basis. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing comprehensive software solutions that address complex business challenges. You will be responsible for translating client requirements into robust technical architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, scalability, and security. This position is critical to our delivery excellence and strategic growth initiatives.
