Job description

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to define and drive end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives and strategic IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software development and delivery, solution architecture, system integration, and enterprise technology, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.

The Solution Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, engineering teams, and technology leadership to establish solution vision, evaluate technology options, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure successful delivery of scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and develop end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business objectives, technology strategy, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and technically feasible solution designs.
• Develop and maintain solution vision, architecture principles, high-level designs, and technical roadmaps for projects and strategic initiatives.
• Provide architectural guidance to project and delivery teams throughout the solution development and delivery lifecycle.
• Evaluate technical options, emerging technologies, and architectural approaches based on business value, cost, scalability, security, and operational considerations.
• Identify and assess technical dependencies, opportunities, risks, and architectural impacts, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with developers, engineering teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, data teams, and other technology stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment.
• Ensure solutions integrate effectively across applications, middleware, databases, APIs, infrastructure, networks, and enterprise platforms.
• Review and validate application, integration, infrastructure, security, data, and operational architecture.
• Support technology decisions related to application development, system integration, cloud, databases, data governance, security, and IT operations.
• Ensure architecture decisions are documented through appropriate architecture diagrams, technical specifications, design documents, and decision records.
• Ensure solutions follow organizational standards, development methodologies, security policies, and technology governance frameworks.
• Support Agile teams and contribute to architecture activities across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work with delivery teams to resolve complex technical and architectural issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and delivery teams where required.
• Assess the impact of new and emerging technologies and recommend practical adoption opportunities.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives and evolving business/operating models through appropriate technology solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, technical assessments, and solution governance forums.
• Support production stability, performance, scalability, and maintainability of implemented solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT software/services definition, development, implementation, and management.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Solution Architecture, with responsibility for defining overall solution vision and architecture for business-oriented projects or strategic IT initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience working across the full solution delivery lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and understanding Agile delivery methodologies and processes.
