Job summary

ClearSource is seeking a Solar Quality Engineer to review designs, perform QA/QC audits, and ensure NEC/local code compliance while working remotely from the Philippines.

The role requires 1–2 years in QA/QC or related technical fields; familiarity with PV projects and tools like Aurora/Solargraf is preferred. You will support SLAs, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in QA/QC, construction, or related technical roles; solar experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, system designs, and performance data to spot issues.
• Familiarity with UL, IBC, NEC and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Review electrical and mechanical designs to ensure NEC and OEM compliance.
• Assess documents and photos to confirm incentive program compliance.
• Perform quality audits on residential solar installations to verify design, code, and standards.
• Ensure timely review of project queues per SLAs.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
• Support QA/QC Manager in achieving goals and process improvements.
• Maintain awareness of residential solar industry standards.
