About the role

Fiber home is seeking an experienced Solar PV Construction Foreman to join our growing team in Cavite Calabarzon. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in the successful delivery of our solar photovoltaic projects. As Solar PV Construction Foreman, you will oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing resources, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety compliance across all solar PV installations. This position is essential to our mission of advancing renewable energy solutions in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction teams during all phases of solar PV installation, including site preparation, equipment installation, and system testing
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies on construction sites
• Manage project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to maintain a safety-conscious work environment
• Inspect work quality and troubleshoot construction issues to maintain high standards and resolve defects promptly
• Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding progress, challenges, and updates
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress records, and incident logs
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractors to optimise workflow and efficiency on site
• Train and mentor construction staff on best practices, safety procedures, and technical requirements
• Conduct site inspections and ensure proper housekeeping and waste management throughout the project

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction foreman or site supervisor, with at least 3 years specifically in solar PV or renewable energy projects
• Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, installation techniques, and electrical safety standards
• Proven expertise in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop construction crews
• Comprehensive understanding of occupational safety and health (OSH) regulations and construction safety best practices
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, electrical schematics, and construction plans
• Strong communication skills in English and Filipino, both written and verbal
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Calabarzon region
• Certification in construction safety and first aid training (preferred)
• Experience with construction management software and digital documentation tools (advantageous)
