Job summary

Vena Energy Services (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a solar power plant project in Ilocos Norte. You will oversee site activities, ensure safe operations, and drive the execution of maintenance and operations plans.

The role requires coordinating with utility partners, reporting performance, and guiding O&M staff to meet targets while maintaining compliance with permits and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management and oversight of the solar power plant and related systems.
• Monitor all site activities and progress to ensure targets and safety standards are met.
• Prepare Monthly Reports detailing performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
• Check compliance with applicable permits and approvals.
• Ensure safe and proper operation of the solar plant, switchyard, transmission line and monitoring systems.
• Supervise daily operations and maintenance staff.
• Direct the implementation of the Operations Plan and Maintenance Program and identify improvement areas.
• Inspect records and log books to assess equipment status and performance.
• Respond to upset conditions and take corrective actions as reported by operators.
• Report abnormal or emergency plant conditions promptly.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and provide trend information to management.
• Administer spare parts inventory control and prepare requisitions for replacements.
• Prepare equipment malfunction reports and assess equipment operation from observations.
• Ensure startup and shutdown procedures for all equipment are followed.
• Coordinate outages and system interface requirements with utilities as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
