Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Grid Manager responsible for the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of a solar PV power plant. The role emphasizes adherence to O&M plans, budget, and safety standards while coordinating with internal and external teams to drive performance and community impact.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical preferred), a PRC license with PEE preferred, and at least 8 years in power generation, including leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• PRC License required, PEE preferred.
• At least 8 years total experience, five in power generation.

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily operations and maintenance plan execution for PV plant.
• Leads operation meetings, manages OMC and enforces OMC contract as applicable.
• Controls and reports PV plant operation against schedule and budget.
• Manages O&M activities to meet scope, quality, and budget objectives.
• Oversees warranty processes for solar plant components and equipment.
• Coordinates with manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors for warranty terms and resolutions.
• Ensures Environmental, Health, and Safety programs for plant employees and visitors.
