Job summary

Vena Group in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Manager to ensure the safe, reliable operation of a solar power plant, switchyard, and associated transmission interfaces. You will lead O&M staff, implement the Operations Plan and Maintenance Program, and guide corrective actions during upset conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum eight years in plant operation and maintenance.
• Three+ years planning and implementing routine O&M plans.
• Experience with environmental and governmental compliance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Disciplined in following protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project management in consultation with the O&M Provider.
• Monitor all site activities and progress.
• Prepare monthly reports.
• Check compliance with permits and approvals.
• Ensure safe and proper operation of solar plant, switchyard, transmission line and related systems.
• Supervise the daily activities of operations and maintenance staff.
• Direct implementation of the Operations Plan and Maintenance Program.
• Inspect records and log books to assess equipment status.
• Respond to upset conditions and take corrective actions.
• Report abnormal or emergency plant conditions.
• Implement the preventive maintenance program and maintain failure records.
• Administer spare parts inventory and requisition replacements.
• Prepare equipment malfunction reports and determine operation status.
• Ensure start-up and shut-down procedures are properly followed.
• Coordinate outages with utilities and system interface requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
