Job summary

Solar Systems Philippines Inc. is seeking an O&M Engineer to ensure optimal operation of solar PV systems, maximize energy yield, and prolong system life.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and implement preventive measures while coordinating with internal and external teams to keep performance high. The role requires licensing, experience with monitoring software, and familiarity with grid integration of renewables.

Qualifications

• Must hold PE license and Safety Officer II certification.

About the role

A Solar PV Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. His key role is to ensure the solar installations perform optimally, maintain high energy yield, and have a long lifespan. He is also tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the systems, with a focus on preventive and corrective measures to maximize performance and minimize downtime.

• Familiarity with electrical grid integration of renewable energy systems
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills for reporting and coordinating with internal and external teams
• Willing to be assigned in Danao City, Cebu
