Job summary

Presam Construction & General Services Inc. is seeking a Solar Maintenance Engineer to lead the PMS business, set maintenance standards, and oversee service delivery across sites in Rizal, Philippines.

You will manage client SLAs, coordinate field teams, and ensure high-quality fault diagnosis and reporting. The role requires a BS Electrical Engineering, PRC-licensed REE, and 2–3 years in solar PV commissioning/troubleshooting/O&M, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree required.
• PRC-licensed Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• 2–3 years hands-on solar PV commissioning/troubleshooting/O&M experience.
• Experience leading on-site field technicians or sub-contractors.
• Basic fault-finding on commercial/industrial solar systems.
• Familiarity with inverter monitoring portals (Huawei, Sungrow).
• Competent use of electrical test instruments (clip meters, DMM).
• Ability to write clear technical/service reports in English.

About the role

The Solar Maintenance Engineer holds overall responsibility for the PMS business — the service scopes offered to clients, the schedules committed to under contract, the technical quality of every site visit, and the service reports issued. The position establishes the maintenance standards, builds and trains the field team, and serves as the final technical authority on fault diagnosis and corrective works.

Minimum Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Education:BS Electrical Engineering graduate.
• License:PRC-licensed Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• Experience:At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in solar PV commissioning, troubleshooting, or O&M.
• Leadership:Experience leading on-site field technicians, junior staff, or sub-contractors.
• Technical Skills:Basic fault-finding capability on commercial and industrial (C&I) solar systems.
• Inverters:Familiarity with major inverter monitoring portals (e.g., Huawei, Sungrow).
• Tools:Competent use of standard electrical test instruments like clamp meters and digital multimeters.
• Reporting:Ability to write clear, professional technical and service reports in English.
• Mobility:Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
