Job summary

MPP Meat Import Corporation is seeking a Solar Energy Engineer to design, develop, and implement solar energy systems, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and optimal performance on-site in Quezon City.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Design, develop, and implement solar energy systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. Lead project management and provide technical support to achieve successful and efficient solar installations.

1. Design and Development of Solar Energy Systems.

• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of solar energy projects, including photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analyses to optimize system performance and cost-efficiency.
• Utilize design software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, or Helioscope for system design and simulation.
• Create detailed electrical and structural layouts for solar installations.
• Operate and analyze test readings using Power Quality Analyzer (PQA).

2. Project Management and Coordination

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to commissioning, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Ensure project compliance with renewable energy regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).

3. Technical Support and Troubleshooting.

• Provide technical expertise during installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance while minimizing downtime.
• Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., SCADA, SolarEdge) for performance monitoring and data analysis.
• Interpret data and generate reports to ensure optimal energy production and system efficiency.

4. Resource Management

• Ensure service vehicle and other selling equipment provided by company are properly maintained
• Follow strictly guidelines schedule of maintenance repairs procedure on company assets provided by the company to ensure these are always on tip-top shape
