Job summary

A staffing solutions company is looking for an Asset Performance Engineer based in Quezon City. This role involves monitoring and troubleshooting solar PV systems, providing technical support, and working closely with the Service & Quality Assurance Team. Candidates require a degree in renewable energy engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This is an onsite position with a start date of November 7.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Solar PV System design and/or monitoring.
• Expert knowledge in Solar PV System monitoring software.
• Excellent technical and practical knowledge of Solar PV System design, installation and operation.
• Strong knowledge of PV system design, installation and operation.
• Familiar with Australian PV installation standards.
• Must be Filipino and residing in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Utilize monitoring software to analyze system performance and identify faults.
• Liaise with the Service & Quality Assurance Team to track service cases.
• Provide remote technical support for contractors to investigate and resolve faults.
• Provide remote technical support for contractors to resolve faults.
• Review contractor documentation from site visits.
• Produce system performance reports for stakeholders.
• Collate data for LGC claims.

About the job: Asset Performance Engineer (Eastwood QC) | Onsite

Work Setup: Shifting, Not fixed; 100% Onsite (Eastwood, Quezon City)

Target Start Date: 7-Nov

The performance engineer is responsible for several key activities that facilitate the continuous operation of solar PV systems post-installation. These include system monitoring, remote troubleshooting and technical support, service case tracking, performance analysis and reporting, and project onboarding. This involves working closely with the Service & Quality Assurance Team to manage assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Photovoltaic/Renewable Energy Engineering (or similar)
• At least 2 years of experience in Solar PV System design and/or monitoring
• Expert knowledge in Solar PV System monitoring software with proven experience troubleshooting system issues
• Excellent technical and practical knowledge of Solar PV System design, installation and operation
• Proficient with relevant Australian Standards related to PV installations
• Candidates must be Filipino citizens living in the Philippines.

Responsibilities
