Qualifications

Key responsibilities

• Perform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for solar PV systems

• Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting

• Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team

• Check and provide complete documentation to clients

• Carry out site root analysis

• Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurring faults

• Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports

• Record keeping and management of spare part movements

• Provide technical training and technical guidance to customers

• Attend conferences and B2B meetings to assess new solar PV system technologies

About you

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Solar Service Technician

• Proven experience as a Solar Technician or in a related field

• Professional fluency in English for written and verbal communication

• Strong understanding of solar energy systems, electrical systems, and safety protocols

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
